Skills/Compétences Canada is a national, not-for-profit organization that works with employers, educators, labour groups and governments to promote skilled trades and technology careers among Canadian youth. Our unique role enables us to work toward securing Canada’s future skilled labour needs while helping our youth to discover rewarding careers.
We provide detailed information and exciting events to educate and engage youth about careers in skilled trades and technology. Our skilled career profiles, for example, contain detailed information about the requirements, expectations and day-to-day workings of each featured career. Through our skills competitions, young Canadians are given the chance to experience these careers first-hand.
